It’s a Coin Toss

Even some direct beneficiaries of the administration’s economic policies are reluctant to give the president too much credit. Ernest Long was hired by GM in 2008, laid off six months later and then called back last October for what is now a 12-hour-a-day shift. His view of the auto bailout: “It’s a coin toss. There’s no telling what would have happened” without it.
